EMPOWERWA – a Christian perspective is an ecumenical community based initiative for local churches to:

•     Take action on climate change in their own homes and congregations.
•     Consider the role of Creation-care in their faith.
•     Talk to people who may be confused, scared or skeptical about a price on carbon.
•     Inspire collaboration across churches to be part of building a sustainable future for coming generations.

Using local church representatives to talk to their congregations about the reason action on climate change is important, EMPOWERWA cuts through the political and media haze to encourage real grassroots action.  This course is designed to give you the answers to give to others on the tough questions around climate change, economic change and the price on carbon and inspire local action within your congregation.
