Win an iPad by telling us what you're doing for a cleaner tomorrow

Are you one of the thousands of West Australians already doing your bit to build a cleaner tomorrow?

We are looking for the best stories from all over the state to show that WA is leading the country in community action on climate change.

To help we’re going to give the best video entry to this competition a brand new iPad as a reward for their good work.

Creativity counts, but the most important thing is to hear your stories. It doesn’t matter if you’re reducing your energy usage at home, making a difference at work or fighting for better environmental policy – we want to hear what you’ve been doing.

Pull out your video camera, webcam or mobile phone and make a video showing what you’ve been doing.

You can check out what other people have already submitted on the map above. Each dot represents a West Australian doing their bit for the environment – just click on one near you to see what your neighbours are up to. You can also check out our blogs section to find out what West Australians from all walks of life are doing for the environment.

So what are you waiting for? Upload your video today using our simple online form and the next video you make could be with your brand new iPad.

Entries close on Monday 9 July 2012 at 5pm WST.

Judging will take place with the best five entries chosen by a panel. The tope five entries will be advised via email.

The top five entries will be voted on via public vote on the EMPOWERWA webpage between the 16th and 27th of July.

The winner will be announced on Monday 30th July at 10am at the Conservation Council of Western Australia.
