I believe that if we educate more people and make them aware of how we can have a cleaner tommorow through composting, recyling, solar power, wind power, hydro power and growing our own fruit and veg, we can all help build a cleaner tomorrow.

I think if we all just cut down on the WASTE we create and teach others how to do it, we could ALL empower WA!!!

08 July 2012Bonnie Barlow I worry about our future and our overuse of energy and resources. Our builder helped us create a passive solar house within our budget. Then this year we added 4.5kw of Solar panels to the roof. Our goal is to some day use no petrol, no gas, and to reduce our garbage and water usage. We are on mains water but filter all black and grey water to irrigate fruit trees in the garden. It's affordable and easy to live sustainably all we have to do is change our thinking.
04 July 2012Liesel and Blake Luxton We are doing lots of things around our house. We have a veggie garden, worm farm to use up food scraps and put the worm wee on the plants in the garden, we make paper bricks out of shredded paper from dads office, we recycle cans and the can tops, we recycle newspapers, we have changed the light bulbs to energy efficient ones and we have a rainwater tank. Our next thing is to get cooks.
